Our 'Where Are They Now?' series takes a look at the history of our Leicester City alumni. Whether they are legends of the club or solid, seasoned performers. Whether they spent just a short time at City or barely made it out of the academy, this series will cover a wide range of former Foxes.

Our second instalment of the 'Where Are They Now?' series takes us back the mid-2000s, a time when as a club it felt much like it does now - a rudderless ship that relied very much on short-term thinking with poor managers and players having little to no direction.

For Darren Kenton, the opportunity to play regularly after a frustrating period at Southampton was the reason that he made the move to the Foxes, and despite the period of instability at the club, his time in the East Midlands was an enjoyable one and helped him regain his confidence.

Kenton told For Fox Sake, “We’d had three managers at Southampton before Christmas. I was playing regularly until Harry Redknapp become our manager. We played against Tottenham in his first game, which we lost 5-1, and I was dropped.
