Last week, when I sat down to write my preview, we didn’t know if there were going to be any new players coming in and we still had the threat of the points deduction looming over us.
Fast forward seven days, and we’ve brought in four new faces and been docked six points! It does mean that there are plenty of question marks around the starting lineup and the matchday squad as a whole this week, which makes a pleasant change.
It also means that, despite us now only being outside the relegation zone on goal difference, the club, players and staff know where they stand, and know that the onus is now all on them to get us out of this mess.
Here are five things to think about ahead of Leicester City’s trip to Birmingham on Saturday afternoon.
