Bromley 0-4 Leicester City: Five Things We Learned

A second consecutive win in three days has got the competitive juices flowing and whilst we must understand it was a Bromley side, still trying to find their feet in League One after their rapid rise, this was as good as a professional performance as we could hope for and hopefully a sign of things to come...

A second consecutive win inside three days is always a welcome sight these days for Foxes fans after the recent tough seasons we've had to endure but a 4-0 win away at Bromley only emphasised the recent mini-revival that, whilst only sits at two games, the positivity is inching back.

Leicester Manager Russell Martin named an unchanged side and was rewarded early on as Will Alves opened the scoring inside 5 minutes. A second goal in as many games from John Lundstram doubled the advantage, giving the Foxes a welcome cushion.

That cushion allowed them to express on the pitch and Luke Thomas added a third on the stroke of half-time, effectively ending the tie, before Emil Riis added a fourth in the second-half. Almost as importantly, a clean sheet will have given the Foxes backline a considerable dose of confidence.
