Leicester City finished their regular WSL season with a disappointing last-gasp 1-0 defeat away at Everton.

City looked set to take a hard-fought point away from Goodison Park, but Maz Pacheco tapped in from close range in the 96th minute to ensure Everton’s season finished on a high, and Leicester’s ended with another loss.

Speaking exclusively to For Fox Sake, former Leicester City and Everton boss Willie Kirk said that this game was reflective of the Foxes’ season as a whole.

“Sometimes when things are going against you – it can be late goals, it can be big opportunities to score yourself – you feel as if when you're down there, the whole world's against you at times,” said Kirk.
