Ipswich Town 1-1 Leicester City: Five Things We Learned

The Foxes continued their trend of going on the road and picking up a point after a 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town. A 1-1 draw at Portman Road against high-flying Ipswich Town, in the scheme of things, looks like a good result, but with the Foxes in the relegation zone and ahead up until the final 15 minutes of the match, it felt like two points lost, rather than a point gained.

The Foxes were largely on top in the first half, having good chances through Harry Winks and Caleb Okoli, but it was goal-shy Patson Daka who swept Leicester in front, volleying home inside the 18-yard box from a Luke Thomas free-kick.

The suspected second-half bombardment on the Foxes' goal duly came as the home side put massive pressure on a confidence-shorn Leicester backline, and though they battled to preserve the lead, the Tractor Boys earned a point through a Sindre Walle Egeli strike on 76 minutes.

Andy Moore looks at five things we learned from the draw at Ipswich Town.
