Life in League One got off to what can only be described as a very familiar feel - and end result - as the Foxes could only muster a 1-1 draw against East Midlands rivals Notts County in the opening game of the season.

A beautifully worked move between three of our academy players, Will Alves, Sammy Braybrooke and goalscorer Jayden Joseph gave the Foxes the lead just after the hour mark, but as is all too familiar, the hosts equalised inside the final ten minutes to share the spoils.

For much of the game, the Foxes were second best and will perhaps be grateful that Notts County couldn't quite muster the quality in the final third to punish Russell Martin's side, who will no doubt be looking at working on the more negatives than positives that stemmed out of the game.
