Leicester City could only muster a draw in their must-win clash with bottom of the table Sheffield Wednesday, as a late Jordan Ayew strike salvaged a point for the Foxes that keeps them in the relegation zone of the EFL Championship with five games remaining.

After Friday's 2-2 draw with Preston North End, the onus to win at the already relegated Owls was of paramount importance, with a minimum of four points, preferably six, pin-pointed by the Foxes faithful with time running out.

That went out of the window inside two minutes as yet again, another set-piece allowed the home side to get themselves an early lead. Jerry Yates was on hand to poke home inside the six-yard box as the poor defending that has blighted the season reared its regular ugly head once again.

Whilst the Foxes endeavoured to claw themselves back into the game and dominated the encounter, the lack of quality on offer was evident.
