Stevenage 2-1 Leicester City: Five Things We learned

The contrast in games in the Jersey Mike's Trophy couldn't be wider as a 2-1 defeat at Stevenage, albeit with a much changed team of players on the periphery, left increasing questions about this Leicester City side and just where we are going.

Sigh.... The life of a Leicester City supporter at the moment is a feeling of an ever present feel of being let down and last night's 2-1 defeat to Stevenage in the Jersey Mike's Trophy or whatever its called, was another interesting low for the Foxes.

After a 2-week break for International duty where beleaguered Manager Russell Martin had plenty of time to really get to grips on the training pitch, it seems not much progress if any has been forthcoming and yes we can argue that it was only the Cup and not many, if any starters on Saturday were in the first XI.

We can also argue that we don't care about this competition, but winning breeds confidence and momentum and so despite Emil Riis halving the deficit in the second-half, it was again a game that posed more questions than answers.
