The Foxes came away from a see-saw encounter with Stockport County at Edgeley Park, with all three points after a 4-3 victory that saw the best and then the worst from a Russell Martin side that is still finding its feet.
A brace from Emil Riis gave the Foxes their first real glimpse of a post-Jamie Vardy world with a competent striker but two late goals from the hosts, made it a nervy time for the Foxes faithful that still continued to show a split towards boss Russell Martin.
Elsewhere a goal and a strong debut from John Lundstrum gave the Foxes a boost, whilst Liam Cullen, back into the side, got Leicester off to a positive start inside the first quarter of an hour.
