Leicester City have hired Gary Rowett as their new manager on a deal until the end of the season, more than three weeks after sacking previous boss Marti Cifuentes.
The 51-year-old, sacked by fellow Championship strugglers Oxford in December, had been heavily linked with the job in the last 48 hours.
He reportedly took training today (Wednesday 18th February), alongside another former Fox, Callum Davidson, who comes in as assistant manager.
He is tasked with preventing the Foxes from suffering the potentially devastating blow of back-to-back relegations as they sit 22nd in the Championship table, two points from safety with 14 games to play.
