Leicester City have made their first signing of the summer, bringing in forward Conor Chaplin on a three-year deal.
The 29-year-old was a free agent after leaving Ipswich Town this summer, having spent five seasons at Portman Road, playing across England’s top three divisions during his time there.
He spent the bulk of last season on loan at Portsmouth, scoring twice in 37 appearances as the south coast side survived relegation from the Championship.
The previous year, he made 22 Premier League appearances for Ipswich, scoring once.
