Leicester City forward Hannah Cain continued her superb run of goalscoring form on the international stage, registering a brace for Wales in their 4-0 World Cup Qualifying win over Albania on Tuesday evening.

Defender Sari Kees scored her sixth international goal for Belgium in 1-1 draw with Scotland, Emily van Egmond was on target for Australia, and Chantelle Swaby was in action for Jamaica.

Cain made it six goals in her last four outings for Wales in Wrexham, scoring the opener after 15 minutes before rounding off the result with her nation’s fourth goal on 55 minutes.

Her first came thanks to a wonderful run to the back post where she was picked out by a lovely low ball before producing a composed first-time finish from the corner of the six-yard box with the goalkeeper bearing down on her.
