The first real green-shoot of a transfer rumour finally emerged for the Foxes last weekend, as they were linked with a move for striker Ibrahim Diabate.

The Ivory Coast target man, who plays for Swedish side GAIS, is building a growing reputation in the Allsvenskan where he finished their most recent campaign as the Golden Boot winner.

He netted 18 goals in just 29 games for the Gothenburg based side, propelling them to third place and earning a Europa Conference League spot next season.

We spoke to local journalist Philip Troller from Göteborgs-Posten to find out what kind of striker Diabate is and how he might help the Foxes in their hour of need, should the club find a much needed few pound sterling.
