Fatawu linked with return to Premier League with Bournemouth

Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu has been linked with a £30 million return to the Premier League with Bournemouth, according to the Daily Mail.

The Ghanaian international has been a bright spark in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Foxes, with four goals and six assists in 24 appearances, including an eye-catching 70+ yard goal from inside his own half against Ipswich recently.

With Bournemouth likely to lose their star winger Antoine Semenyo, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City, Fatawu would likely be a direct replacement for Andoni Iraola’s side.

The highly-rated Fatawu joined the Foxes initially on a season-long loan from Portuguese side Sporting CP in August 2023 and impressed in a side promoted back to the Premier League at the first time of asking under former boss Enzo Maresca.
