Ten of the 14 World Cup stars with Leicester connections have made it through the group stage of the tournament, with Scotland, Turkey and New Zealand the only nations with ex-City players to bow out.
In Group C, Bilal El Khannouss played the full 90 minutes in Morocco’s 4-2 victory over Haiti, registering two shots on target and creating three chances.
The Atlas Lions finish Group C in second place, and take on Netherlands in the last 32 on 30th June.
Former City striker, George Hirst, once again watched from the bench as Scotland fell to a 3-0 defeat against Brazil. Steve Clarke’s side gifted possession to their opponents multiple times in their own half and paid the price.
