Leicester City’s squad is starting to look very different with pre-season in full swing, as relegation to WSL 2 has brought about wholesale changes.
Last week, we summarised the summer so far, which had seen seven players leave, two come in, and two sign contract extensions.
This week, three more players have departed, two new signings have arrived, and another contract extension has been signed.
City’s longest-serving player Sam Tierney has penned a new deal which will keep her at the club until 2028. She stepped up to take on the captaincy following the mid-season departure of Janice Cayman last term, and this demonstrates her commitment to putting right the wrongs of last season.
