Leicester City Women have kicked off the first week of the January transfer window with two new arrivals at Belvoir Drive, with Emma Jansson and Sarah Mayling joining the club.
City boss Rick Passmoor spoke of the need for experienced additions to his squad as they look to build on a promising first half of the Women's Super League campaign.
And the club have certainly delivered on that front. Jansson is a two-time Swedish top flight winner with FC Rosengård who brings ability and versatility to the side.
Predominantly a midfielder, she can also play in defence and has over 200 senior appearances at the highest level.
