Hosts Australia are into the Asian Cup final after beating China 2-1 in the semis.

Leicester City's Emily van Egmond has featured in every game for the Matildas on home soil, and came on as a stoppage time substitute to help her side see out the game.

Australia will face two-time winners Japan in the final after they beat South Korea 4-1 in the other semi-final.

In front of a 35,000 strong crowd in Perth, the hosts started strongly. Arsenal's Caitlin Foord created a chance for Mary Fowler inside five minutes and opened the scoring herself with a well-placed finish into the bottom corner on 17 minutes.
