Hosts Morocco suffered heartbreak in the Africa Cup of Nations final which was full of drama, losing 1-0 to Senegal.
Leicester City's Bilal El Khannouss started the game for the Atlas Lions and played 80 minutes, meaning he was off the field of play for the incident packed closing stages.
Senegal had a goal disallowed late on, and in the final few seconds of stoppage time, VAR awarded Morocco a highly contentious penalty after Real Madrid's Brahim Diaz went down softly.
This sparked sensational Senegalese protests, with the manager beckoning the players to walk off the pitch and down the tunnel. During the time the players were off the pitch, Senegalese fans tried to enter the field of play in protest, clashing violently with police and security.
