Six City stars will be in senior international action over the coming week, with domestic action taking a back seat before the end of season run-in kicks off on 15th March.
Rick Passmoor’s side head into the international break bottom of the WSL but with a game in hand, and face Liverpool next, who are directly above them in the table.
No doubt that those City players staying at home will be working hard on the training ground as they focus on trying to avoid relegation, but for the international Foxes, qualifying for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil is on the agenda.
Swiss superstar Alisha Lehmann teams up with her compatriots as they face Northern Ireland and Malta in World Cup qualifiers. The pacey forward has over 50 caps for her country and was on the scoresheet in the last international window.
