After an ultra busy transfer deadline day in which our LIVE transfer news blog still has smoke coming out of it after recording all the comings and going at the King Power. It's time to take a look at the complete summer transfer window for Leicester City.
After relegation for the second consecutive season, a massive squad overhaul was needed.
Players of value had to leave to try and balance the books. Dead weights, draining the club through wages and stinking of failure from a double relegation also needing to be shipped out.
Loan signings would play an important role in the window with Leicester City and Seagrave a popular destination for Premier League clubs to send their young stars.
A total of 30 players left Leicester City this summer with 14 arriving. Who are they and where did they go? Our complete list tells the story.
Transfers In:
Goalkeeper
Alex McCarthy - 36 years old - Southampton - free transfer
The experienced goalkeeper, signed ahead of interest from Chelsea on a one year contract, had previously worked with Russell Martin at Southampton.
Franco Ravizzoli - 29 years old - Blackpool - free transfer
After previously working with Russell Martin at MK Dons, the Italian signed a three year contract at Leicester City.
Defenders
Ilari Kangasniemi - Centre Back - 19 years old - FC Inter Veikkausliiga - £2 million
The 6ft 6" highly rated defender, signed a five year contract at the club for a record fee for the Finnish League.
Warren O'Hora - Centre Back - 27 years old - Hibernian - Undisclosed.
Deadline day signing. The strong and popular centre half, who played under Russell Martin at MK Dons, signed a three year contract after making 85 appearances for Hibernian.
Christian McFarlane - Left Back - 19 years old - Man City - Loan
The Manchester City full back, signed on a season long loan from the excellent City academy.
Midfield
Liam Cullen - Attacking Midfield - 27 years old - Swansea - £2 million
The Wales international signed a three year deal with City after making over 200 appearances for Swansea. Another who has previously played for Russell Martin.
Wes Burns - Right Winger -31 years old - Ipswich Town - £75,000
The Wales international signed a three year deal from Premier League Ipswich Town.
Conor Chaplin - Attacking Midfield - 29 years old - Ipswich Town - free transfer
The 29-year-old moved to King Power Stadium as a free agent on a three year deal. Chaplin was released by Ipswich Town and was Leicester City's first summer signing.
John Lundstram - Defensive Midfield - 32 years old - Trabzonspor - free transfer
Deadline day signing. Lundstram joined Leicester on a two year deal after his departure from Turkish Super Liga side Trabzonspor. Last season he helped Hull gain promotion to the Premier League.
Harry Howell - Attacking Midfield - 18 years old - Brighton - Loan
The 18 year old joined Leicester on a season long loan. The exciting winger signed a new long term contract at Premier League Brighton before his move.
Tommy Watson - Left Winger - 20 years old - Brighton - Loan
Signed on a season long loan, Premier League winger Watson scored a stoppage-time winner in the Championship Play-Off Final for Sunderland in 2024/25.
Kamari Doyle - Attacking Midfield - 21 years old - Brighton - Loan
Deadline day signing. The third loan signing from Brighton. Doyle was on loan last season at League One Reading, where he made 46 appearances across all competitions. Signed in the early hours after the deadline had passed.
Striker
Emil Riis - Centre Forward - 28 years old - Bristol City - Undisclosed.
Deadline day signing. Danish International Riis was top scorer for Championship side Bristol City last season with 12 goals in all competitions.
Admir Bristric - Centre Forward - 23 years old - Olimpija Prva - £2.1million
Bosnian U21 striker Bristric, spent last season on loan at Slovenian club Bravo. He scored 10 goals in 24 appearances.
