With so many ins and outs to report in the first two weeks of Leicester City Women’s pre-season, it has been a slightly quieter week at Belvoir Drive.
The third instalment of our summer roundup features two friendly fixtures, two player departures, one new contract, and confirmation of the fixtures, format, name change and alternative home ground for the Subway Players Cup.
Starting with the news about individuals, exciting young forward Denny Draper has signed a new contract, keeping her at the club until 2028.
The 19-year-old has not made a competitive appearance since February 2024 due to two long-term injuries, so City fans will be hoping she can stay fit and get a run of games this season.
