Leicester City Women boss Rick Passmoor wanted to focus on bringing in experience this transfer window, and he has been backed brilliantly by the recruitment team.

The Foxes have signed five senior players who have all gone straight into the matchday squad, adding quality and know-how to one of the league’s youngest teams.

There have also been six departures in order to balance the squad and the books, with City now focused on utilising the strengths of their new recruits to keep themselves clear of relegation.

For Fox Sake looks at the impact that LCFC Women’s January signings could have, with the help of The Women’s Football Show host Lily Saunders, and recent guests: Tom Garry (women’s football writer at The Guardian); Chloe Hudson-Jones (former Leicester, Aston Villa and Liverpool player); and Rachel Cohen (Spurs Women blogger and podcaster).
