The Foxes are looking for their sixth permanent manager in less than three seasons following the departure of Marti Cifuentes over the weekend. He lasted just 31 games in charge, having just completed six months in the Leicester hotseat.

When a club goes through that many managers in a short space of time, the consensus is likely to be one of two options: a club that is highly successful but seen as a stepping stone to more elite teams; or a club that, for want of a better word, is a shambles.

At the moment we can quite clearly put the Foxes in the shambles category with the plethora of issues that are piling up. Leicester City was once deemed to be one of the best run clubs not only in England, but across the world, with an enviable backstory that highlighted the club globally.

Sadly, those days seem a distant memory as we scramble to find yet another manager to begin the process of turning the club's fortune around, albeit under difficult circumstances that don't yet seem to have a path to a better long-term future.
