With 30 players leaving Leicester City this summer, at the top of many City fans wish list for departure would have been Wout Faes and Caleb Okoli. But the day after the transfer window has closed, both are still registered at the football club.

Wout Faes spent the second half of last season on loan at AS Monaco. He has not played a minute for Leicester City in League One this season and is completely out of Russell Martins plans.

Caleb Okoli has appeared in the first three games of this season. Scoring against Northampton Town in the Carabao Cup 1st Round.

With the additions of defenders Ilari Kangasniemi and Warren O’Hora. The emergence of Olabade Aluko. Harry Souttar staying at the football club. Plus the surprising form at centre half of the previously calamitous full back, Luke Thomas. Russell Martin suddenly had depth in the centre of defence.
