FAN OPINION: The January transfer window – Is anything actually happening?

Foxes Fans
I love a transfer.
From checking teletext back in the day, to a recent, near pathological habit of refreshing clickbait sites and web forums every lunch break, people like me will hoover up those rumours until the AI Present-o-Bot 3000 Jim White officially declares the window has SLAMMED shut.
Indeed, dangle a juicy little carrot of a new player in front of me and I will happily keep plodding away on a rumour road long after it’s obvious the new player won’t be heading to Seagrave, never expressed any interest in doing so, or indeed was ever actually contacted by the club.
Trouble is, these days there aren’t many carrots. Certainly not enough to make a decent stew, let alone a delicious carrot cake that would come out at a fancy and overpriced afternoon tea that the missus and her friends would chomp down with lashings of prosecco and tiny sandwiches.
