Never fall in love with a loan player. That’s the old adage, isn’t it? But it’s hard not to when they stand out like a shining beacon in a world of darkness and despair.

There have been a few ‘Stranger Things’ going on over the last couple of years. Leicester City Football Club and especially the King Power Stadium has fallen into the upside down.

Everything seems reasonably familiar, but with endless darkness and gloom. The Demogorgons have morphed into Ruud van Nistelrooy and Jon Rudkin. Is Top truly Vecna?

He is to some, but as far as I'm aware, no mascots have disappeared. Maybe we’ll have to wait for another season for that plot twist to play out.
