Leicester Fans Have Shown Their Loyalty — Now The Club Need To Reward It

The Foxes fanbase, new and old, have shown their loyalty by backing their team despite relegation to League One. Is it time now for a gesture from Khun Top and the King Power Group, considering the incomprehensible season ticket prices?

When Leicester City suffered the humiliation of relegation to League One, there was an understandable fear around what it would do to the connection between supporters and the club.

After all, this is not a normal relegation story.

Don't forget here that Leicester City are a club that won the Premier League less than a decade ago. A club that played Champions League football, lifted the FA Cup and spent years establishing itself among the elite of English football.

To now find themselves preparing for third-tier football has left frustration, anger and exhaustion among large sections of the fanbase. So when season ticket renewals opened, there was genuine uncertainty around what the response would be.
