There was always going to come a point where goodwill alone stopped being enough. For years, Leicester City supporters defended the ownership through almost anything because of what they gave us.
And rightly so. Under the Srivaddhanaprabha family, we lived through the greatest period in the club’s history. Promotion, survival, the impossible Premier League title, FA Cup glory and unforgettable European nights. Nobody can ever erase that.
But football does not stand still, and sentiment cannot be allowed to cloud what is happening in front of our eyes right now. Because this version of our Leicester City looks and feels toothless and directionless. Not unlucky. Not rebuilding. Directionless.
