With 11 games to go, I sat down and crunched the Championship relegation numbers from the last ten seasons.

Now, with five games left, I thought it was time to revisit this process and see what the numbers look like in terms of us staying in the division.

The average number of points needed to survive in the Championship in the last decade has been 45.3 – that figure has been calculated based on amassing one more point than the team that finished 22nd in each season.
