Leicester City 0-1 Brighton: Stick or Twist - Passmoor's LCFCW Future

The Foxes Women are on a horrible run of losses that extended to seven games on Sunday in a 1-0 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion Women. With the season nearing its end, do they stick with manager Rick Passmoor or do they look to get the old 'new manager bounce' and save themselves from possible relegation?

Leicester City Women find themselves at a crossroads as their difficult Women’s Super League campaign nears its conclusion, and the question of whether to part ways with Rick Passmoor has become increasingly pressing.

With the team rooted to the bottom of the table, on a lengthy losing run, and running out of matches to save themselves, the instinctive reaction is to look toward the manager. Yet the reality surrounding the situation is far more nuanced.

Sunday's defeat against Brighton, coupled with West Ham's draw against London City Lionesses, saw City fall further adrift at the foot of the table.

They had just 37.5% possession and failed to register a shot on target, their lack of goals proving to be their downfall once again, despite an attacking front four of Hannah Cain, Alisha Lehmann, Shannon O'Brien and Missy Goodwin.
